CAMP SABALU-HARRISON, Afghanistan -- Sir Richard Stagg, British Ambassador to Afghanistan, toured the Detention Facility in Parwan, August 9, 2012, to gain a better understanding of the ongoing process to transfer facilities at the DFIP to the Afghan National Army Detention Operations Command. The tour was guided by U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Keith M. Huber, commander, Combined Joint Interagency Task Force 435, and U.S. Army Col. Robert M. Taradash, commander, Task Force Protector. CJIATF 435 oversees all detainee operations in Afghanistan. Task Force Protector personnel oversee the secure and humane care, custody and control of the detainees within the DFIP.
