LETZLINGEN, Germany -- Exercise Letzlingen Freedom Shock is in full swing with U.S. and German Soldiers conducting training at the German Army Combat Training Center through April 28.

The bilateral exercise is part of Operation Atlantic Resolve and includes troops from 3rd Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment, 1st Armor Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, and the German 2nd Mechanized Battalion.

Designed to demonstrate interoperability between the German and American training organizations, Freedom Shock reinforces strong bonds with partner nations, advances readiness and professionally develops Soldiers and their leadership.
