The 25th Infantry Division and the Air Force's 15th Wing conducted joint training with a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft, Dec. 16 on Wheeler Army Airfield, Hawaii.

The plane was loaded with Humvees and military personnel, within 2 hours.

The exercise enabled the 25th Infantry Division, 5th Battlefield Coordination Detachment and the Air Force's 15th Wing to successfully test joint readiness procedures.

Through a joint endeavor with the Air Force at Joint Base Pearl Harbor- Hickam, the 25th Infantry Division continues to refine its ability to deploy initial forces within 24 hours of notification. The C-17 Globemaster aircraft provides both troop and cargo transport to help the 25th Infantry Division succeed in its mission.
