ANNISTON ARMY DEPOT, Ala. -- A Stryker vehicle and members of the military from Anniston Army Depot participated in two parades in December.

The first was held Dec. 3 in Talladega.

Beginning at the intersection of Haynes Street and Battle Street in Talladega, the long line of bands, floats, cars and other entries marched their way up to and around the square, before disbanding a block south of the square.

ANAD Sgt. Maj. Ronald Ferdinand and the depot's two warrant officers, Chief Warrant Officer 3 Adrian Pubill and Chief Warrant Officer 3 Cody Songer, rode in the Stryker while installation volunteers walked alongside.

The Anniston Christmas Parade, Dec. 11, began at the Anniston Meeting Center and continued along Noble Street to 9th Street.

Riding in the Stryker were Anniston Munitions Center Commander Lt. Col. Roshun Steele, Dear Occupational Health Clinic Physician Maj. Peter Dinh and Songer.

ANAD Commander Col. Joel Warhurst, Ferdinand and Pubill walked alongside the vehicle through the parade route.

Parades enable ANAD to show gratitude to the communities surrounding the installation for their support of the depot throughout the year.
