REDSTONE ARSENAL, Alabama -- A federal employee with a 40-year career retired among friends and coworkers at the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command's Redstone Arsenal headquarters.
John Cummings, public affairs specialist, retired June 21 after more than 42 years of federal service.
During the ceremony Cummings received the Meritorious Civilian Service Award, and American flag, a three star note, a certificate of achievement, and a certificate of retirement and pin.
