The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command's Soldier and Noncommissioned Officer of the Year have been preparing for the Best Warrior Competition to take place at Fort Lee, Va., Sept. 28-Oct. 2.

Sgt. Sarah Haskins, NCO of the Year, and Sgt. Travis Parsons, Soldier of the Year, will begin today to test their skills against the best in the Army.

Haskins is stationed at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colo., and Parsons is stationed at Okinawa, Japan.
