U.S. Soldiers and troops from nine European nations recently joined together for military advisory team and police advisory team training at U.S. Army Europe's Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels, Germany. The training is designed to replicate the Afghanistan operational environment to prepare MATs and PATs for counterinsurgency operations with the ability to train, advise and enable the Afghan National Army and the Afghanistan National Police.
