Rollin Barton, an Engineer Officer from Springfield, Ill., assigned to 14th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, runs through a weapon clearing drill with a squadmate before the Expert Soldier Badge carbine/rifle and light grenade launcher event at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., Oct. 29, 2019.
