Sgt. 1st Class Jonathan Lindholm, a Prime Power contracting officer technical representative, was awarded the NATO Medal and Meritorious Service Medal for his service to the Area Support Group Afghanistan (ASG-A) during the command's Sept. 30 hail and farewell. The awards were presented by (left) ASG Commander Col. Jacob Peterson.

ASG-A personnel attended the September event at the command headquarters on Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. After the formal recognitions, attendees enjoyed food and games. ASG-A provides base life support to more than 35,000 personnel throughout the Combined Joint Operations Area Afghanistan. Those personnel include U.S. military, DOD Civilians, Contractor and Coalition Forces contributing to the NATO-led Resolute Support Train, Advise and Assist Mission. ASG-A base life support services encompass everything from law enforcement and public works to billeting, food service and quality of life.
