FORT BLISS, Texas -- Soldiers with 4th Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment "Regulars," 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team "Bulldog," 1st Armored Division conducted a Team Live Fire Exercise to increase readiness and lethality at Fort Bliss, Sept. 18, 2018.
Soldiers trained on low-crawl, high-crawl, and 3-5 second rush movement techniques in buddy teams to build proficiency closing in on and reacting to contact with the enemy.
"Buddy team (training) is when you have two soldiers closing in on the enemy on an objective and they'll basically bound and conduct their individual movement techniques," said 1st Lt. Robert Wedebrook. "You build on that by doing the Buddy Team Live Fire which is two teams with a team leader and they'll do their individual movement techniques together to close with the enemy."
These level one warrior tasks are important for every Soldier to build proficiency in to accomplish any mission.
