Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 5th Infantry Regiment, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division deployed from Fort Wainwright Alaska to Joint Base Lewis-McChord for Exercise Courage Ready 18-02. Courage Ready is an Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise (EDRE). The Soldiers trained with Soldiers from 4th Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division during the two-week long exercise.
