The Army Chief of Staff, Gen. Raymond Odierno, brought a message of gratitude during his visit to Network Integration Evaluation, or NIE 14.2 that took place at Fort Bliss, Texas and White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico.
Odierno:
"I know many of you have probably deployed multiple times to multiple places around the world and I want to thank you for that. I want to thank you for your sacrifice and everything that you've done"
Bague:
NIEs simulate the complexities of the operational environment in which Soldiers from Second Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, assess emerging capabilities and provide feedback to the Army.
One of the highlights of NIE 14.2 was the joint and multinational participation of forces.
