Dreadnaught Soldiers bring 'shock and awe' firepower to Allied Spirit

HOHENFELS, Germany -- Soldiers from the 2nd Battalion 34th Armored Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, participate in Allied Spirit X, at the 7th Army Training Command's Hohenfels Training Area in southeastern Germany, Mar. 30th - Apr. 17, 2019.

Approximately 5,630 participants from 15 nations will take part in exercise Allied Spirit X at the 7th Army Training Command's Hohenfels Training Area in southeastern Germany, Mar. 30th - Apr. 17, 2019.

Nearly 1,265 participants will come from the United States and approximately 4,365 participants are scheduled to participate from allied and partner nations of Denmark, Finland, Germany, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Moldova, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.

In this exercise, Germany's 21st Armored Brigade will hold several significant roles including the higher command and as a primary training audience. Allied Spirit X is unique in its ability to provide hands-on experience and testing of secure communications between NATO allies.

The Devil Brigade is part of more than 6,000 U.S. regionally-allocated Soldiers in Germany, Bulgaria, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Romania, on a nine-month rotation, in support of Atlantic Resolve.
