FORT BENNING, Ga., (May 27, 2015) -- Nearly 150 Soldiers from B Company, 2nd Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment, returned from Canadian Forces Base Wainwright, Alberta, Canada, with a welcome home ceremony May 22 at the Kelley Hill Recreation Center.

The Maple Resolve Team was deployed to Canada for more than a month as part of a multinational training exercise that included not only the Army, but other branches of the U.S. military and Canadian forces.

During their time in Canada, the Panther Soldiers of 2nd Bn., 69th Armor Regt., participated in several training operations, including battalion level defense and attack operations, as well as live fire exercises, said 2nd Lt. Nicholas Trevena, with the battalion's operations team.

"They were involved in several air-assault operations, security patrols and the defense of those objectives, once the Panthers gained control," he said.

It was the equivalent of a National Training Center rotation and they completed it successfully, Trevena said.
