The Department of Defense today identified a unit to deploy as part of the upcoming rotation of forces operating in Afghanistan.
The scheduled rotation involves elements of a division headquarters with roughly 200 personnel to rotate in November 2014 in support of the combatant commander's mission requirements. The deploying unit is:
Division Headquarters:
3rd Infantry Division Headquarters, Fort Stewart, Georgia
