Mr. Ryan Cole, Ready and Resilient (R2) Program Manager, 20th CBRNE Command

The 20th CBRNE Command takes pride in recognizing the exemplary performance of our civilian workforce. It is our privilege to serve beside you and say “thank you” for your courage, selflessness and service. We would like to recognize Mr. Ryan Cole, Ready and Resilient (R2) Program Manager, 20th CBRNE Command, as the Civilian of the Quarter-4th Quarter FY20.

Q1. What does being selected 20th CBRNE Command's Civilian of the Quarter mean to you?

A1. It is truly an honor to be recognized as the Civilian of the Quarter for the command. There are so many outstanding Department of the Army Civilians that work so hard every day and for me to be selected is a great accomplishment.

Q2. What are your professional goals and what steps have you taken to achieve those goals?

A2. My professional goals are to learn as much as possible so that I can continue to make a change and positively impact the command every day. I have taken classes and learned new systems that will help me to assist others more efficiently and to keep the command more informed.

Q3. What advice would you offer to other civilians in the command, who want to achieve this award?

A3. My advice would be to continue working hard and branch outside of your comfort zone to help learn the jobs and processes of others in your section so that you can better help them and the team as a whole. Embrace change. Things are always changing around us, both personally and professionally. That is not always a bad thing. Accepting and embracing that change up front will reduce tension and improve you and your team’s efficiency.
