WASHINGTON (July 14, 2015) --William J. Koon, Joint Force Headquarters-National Capital Region and U.S. Army Military District of Washington (JFHQ-NCR/MDW) staff judge advocate labor counsel, received the Meritorious Civilian Service Award for 13 years of exemplary service during a ceremony held on Fort Lesley J. McNair.
Egon Hawrylak, JFHQ-NCR/MDW deputy commander, presided over the ceremony. Koon will leave the command and will become the Office of the Judge Advocate General Career Program Manager at the Pentagon.
