FORT HOOD, Texas -- Soldiers of the 3rd Battalion, "Warrior Battalion," 393rd Field Artillery Regiment, 479th Field Artillery Brigade, Division West, took on the Fort Hood Air Assault obstacle course during physical training at Fort Hood, Texas, Feb. 14. The unit conducted nine of the 15 obstacles, finding the most challenging ones to be the "Tough One," "Belly Over" and "Slide for Life." The event proved to be a challenging PT session that increased team cohesion and tested not only the Soldiers' physical ability, but their ability to conquer their fears. At the conclusion of the training, Command Sgt. Maj. Tyson Goolsby, 3rd Battalion, 393rd Field Artillery Regiment command sergeant major, stressed the importance of team work and of having a "work hard, play hard" mentality.
