First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move! initiative is an effort dedicated to raising a healthier generation of kids and our military kids are no exception. Let's Move! launched its first-ever worldwide Meetup day, a Let's Move! Olympic Fun Day and it is tomorrow Saturday July 28, 2012 at cities and bases around the country.
On Saturday, July 28th, the first day of the Olympic Games in London, the First Lady is calling on communities around the country and on military families like yours, to support Team USA. Don't just cheer on our athletes, but get active and participate in an "Olympics-inspired" Meetup that's fun and promotes healthy families.
All families and organizations are encouraged to create your own Let's Move! Olympic Fun Day Meetups here.
You can also spread the word -- on social media use the hashtag #LetsMoveDay and send it to your networks encouraging people to join.
