CAMP ARIFJAN, Kuwait -- Brig. Gen. Jonathan G. Ives (left), Commanding General, 346th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), Washington Army National Guard, and Lt. Col. Fredrick Bower (right), deputy commander, Area Support Group-Kuwait supports Earth Day by helping plant two date palm trees here April 22. The date palm trees were donated by International Telephone and Telegraph and ASG-KU. The trees planted will bear fruit and produce six offspring date palms to be planted here. Third Army is shaping the future by maintaining and keeping the environment clean and healthy throughout its area of responsibility.
