YONGSAN GARRISON, South Korea (Dec. 8, 2011) -- The Eighth Army Band is scheduled to perform its annual holiday concert at South Korea's premier concert venue Dec. 18.

The Eighth Army Band will perform with the 90 Violin Orchestra, Soprano Shin Young-ok and Baritone Seo Jung-haak at the Seoul Performing Arts Center, Korea's Carnegie Hall.

The popular holiday event is open to the public.

Eighth Army Band Sgt. Maj. Robert Stagg said the holiday concert is band's biggest event.

"This concert gives us the opportunity to play together with some famous Korean musicians at a world class concert venue," said Stagg. "There's no better way to kick off the holiday season than at the Seoul Performing Arts Center on December 18th."
