FORT HOOD, Texas - Steven Draper, curator of the 1st Cavalry Division Museum, speaks to attendees at the rededication ceremony of a French Model of 1897 75mm cannon at the 1st Cav. Div. Museum here during the 64th Annual 1st Cavalry Division Reunion June 10. The cannon was captured by the division during the Vietnam War. The restoration, headed by Bruce Frazer, president of Custom Manufacturing in Dallas, cost over $10,000 and 1000 man-hours to replace the wheels, re-bend metal pieces and repaint, among other restorations.
