Brig. Gen. Allen J. Pepper, commanding general of the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command, visited staff members at the command's New Cumberland, Pennsylvania headquarters Sept. 18-19, 2024.
During this inaugural visit to New Cumberland, Pepper and the command team were briefed by subject matter experts and met with security assistance liaison officers from several partner nations. He also conducted a meet and greet in the team's International Cafe, where he talked with employees about everything from work to football and family life.
Pepper assumed command of USASAC Sept. 6, 2024 and oversees the command's $281 billion foreign military sales portfolio with more than 136 nations and 11 agencies.
