FORT KNOX, Ky. — Several Soldiers assigned to U.S. Army Cadet Command gathered at Fort Knox’s two main railheads May 5 to offload several military vehicles in preparation for the 2023 Cadet Summer Training season.
Under the watchful eye of Cadet Command safety officials, the Soldiers loaded into each of the trucks and carefully drove them off of rail cars before driving them to the unit’s motor pool.
Cadet Summer Training season will begin shortly after Reserve Officers Training Corps cadets finish up their college studies across the United States later this month. The first of 10 Advanced Camp graduations for more than 6,000 cadets will begin July 4, with the first of three Basic Camp graduations for 1,200 cadets happening July 27.
