Brown, commander, U.S. Army Garrison Fort Carson, his daughter Amelia Brown, wife Erica Brown and daughter Aisling Brown put food on plates to serve the less fortunate at a Salvation Army in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Nov. 24, 2022. Culinary specialists from Fort Carson volunteered to cook the food over a three-day span. In all they prepared 2,500 meals with 250 turkeys, 10 cases of green beans and vegetables, eight cases of dressing/stuffing and 220 pounds of mashed potatoes.
