Army announces upcoming 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, unit rotation

WASHINGTON — The Department of the Army announced today the upcoming spring rotational deployment of the 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, to Europe.

The 3rd CAB, stationed at Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia, will replace the 1st Armored Division Combat Aviation Brigade as part of a regular rotation of forces to support the United States’ commitment to Atlantic Resolve.

"When the nation calls, the Dogface Soldiers of the 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade are ready to serve," said Col. Eric Vanek, commander of the 3rd CAB. "We've trained hard and I'm extremely confident in our ability to successfully complete any mission that comes our way. The 3rd CAB is composed of the world's finest aviators, and I couldn't be more proud of this incredible brigade, historic division, and community!"
