Army announces upcoming 4th Infantry Division unit rotations

WASHINGTON — The Department of the Army announced today the upcoming winter rotational deployments of the 4th Infantry Division Headquarters and the 4th Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade, to Europe.

The 4th Infantry Division HQ will replace the 1st Infantry Division Headquarters and the 4th Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade will replace the 1st Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade, as part of a regular rotation of forces to support the United States’ commitment to Atlantic Resolve. Both deploying units are stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado.

Hodne, commander of the 4th Infantry Division and Fort Carson. “In addition to deploying expert Soldiers, leaders and formations, the division’s previous experience in Europe will enable rapid partnering with allies in this dynamic security environment. Ivy Soldiers believe in themselves, their teammates, and their leaders. Their steadfast and loyal commitment inspires confidence and the Ivy Division is ready to answer the nation’s call.”
