FORT KNOX, Ky. — After a two-year hiatus, residents of Fort Knox and surrounding communities filled the street and field across from Radcliff City Hall May 21 to celebrate the 15th annual of Hooray for Heroes event.

The celebration included musical performances, giveaways, information booths, bouncy houses and plenty of food.

Fort Knox Garrison Commander Col. Lance O’Bryan kicked off the festivities talking about his experiences deployed to the Middle East. Event organizers paid a special tribute to those veterans and Soldiers who served in operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
