Army golf courses that serve Soldiers, their families and civilians just got better with a new online booking feature.

If you’re looking to play a round, you may be able to book a time slot online. Thirty-three Army golf courses now have the ability to utilize the convenient technology of GolfNow, TeeOff, and Military Tee Times.Tee Times.

“This new technology provides our golf courses with multiple exposure opportunities to expand their current market and accommodate the growing demand for online mobile access for booking tee times,” said Michael McCoy, IMCOM G9 golf program manager.

The U.S. Army’s Installation Management Command G9 division, better known as Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation, maintains the golf courses. These courses go back as far as the World War II era, when the Fort Jackson Golf Club was established.

“As our primary customers, our Soldiers, families and civilians will benefit directly from the new services they can utilize,” said McCoy. “The financial success generated by the additional play which will go back into servicing our courses for the Army community.”

Of the 33 Army golf courses, 21 are open to the public so even local community members can enjoy the new ease of reserving a tee time online 24/7.

The courses accommodate nearly 1 million rounds each year with facilities that vary from driving ranges and nine holes, to 36 holes, perfect for golfers of every skill level.

Army golf courses have been recognized by GolfPass to include Gordon Lakes Golf Course, located right next to Augusta, Georgia, built in 1975, and West Point Golf Course, an 18-hole mountain layout open to the public, located at the Military Academy in New York.
