Monthly Fort Knox retirement ceremony set for July 30

The monthly post retirement ceremony will be Friday, July 30 at 3 p.m. in Waybur Theater and hosted by the commander of U.S. Army Reserve Aviation Command, Brig. Gen. H. Allan Cutchin, and ARAC interim senior enlisted advisor, Command Sgt. Maj. Carl Sheckles Jr.

The public is invited to attend this event. All compliance measures associated with health protection condition (HPCON) level Bravo and General Order No. 1 (signed May 17, 2021) remain in effect (e.g., Those who are not at least 14 days past their final COVID-19 shot series must continue to wear a mask in the theater).

The following retirees will be honored in this ceremony:

·Col. Dwight Griffith, U.S. Army Cadet Command, with 29 years of service

·1st Sgt. Jason Allenbaugh, V Corps, with 21 years of service

·Loretta Owens, U.S. Army Cadet Command, with 36 years of service

·Larraine Nobes, U.S. Army Human Resources Command, with 30 years of service

·Stephen Nobes, U.S. Army Human Resources Command, with five years of service

·Chief Warrant Officer 3 Denise Long, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, with 21 years of service

·1st Sgt. Jerome Pendergrass, Fort Knox Garrison Command, with 22 years of service

·Sgt. 1st Class Miguel Grandabravo, 157th Infantry Brigade, with 20 years of service
