An awards ceremony will be held at 8:45 a.m. to commemorate Whittle's service here.

Whittle, who became the school's 97th Commandant on Sept. 19, 2017, will move on to take command of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Great Lakes and Ohio River Division.

Quander comes to Fort Leonard Wood from Winchester, Virginia, where he most recently served as the Commander and Division Engineer of the Transatlantic Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
