CHIÈVRES, Belgium -- To meet the needs of our community, U.S. Army Garrison Benelux Public Affairs is currently reassessing and applying changes to our command information products.
The first major change is the official USAG Benelux website. In October, we launched a new website. Its new address, or URL, is https://www.home.army.mil/benelux. If you have not already, please make sure to bookmark this link.
We listened to our community members and incorporated new features to make the website more interactive and mobile-friendly. Some notable changes include a searchable phonebook and calendars for Inside the Gate and Outside the Gate events. Our intent is to provide information in addition to making the most optimal user experience. Our website is evolving, and updates to improve the user experience are happening frequently. In the way ahead, we are updating our communications products. The Gazette will receive a makeover soon. We understand that communication has evolved greatly since The Gazette was first published. People are consuming information quicker than ever before. In the upcoming weeks, the Gazette will be condensed into smaller and more web-friendly issues.
However, please know that we are still providing valuable information to the community. For events listings, we ask that people read the calendars on our website in addition to viewing other great resources in our communities such as the Family and MWR's websites, SHAPE2DAY.com and JFCBrunssum.com.
