FORT LEE, Va. -- Sixteen individuals who distinguished themselves over the course of 411 years of service were honored during the 2018 Quartermaster Corps Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at the Lee Club.

The Quartermaster Hall of Fame was established in November 1985, by Maj. Gen. Eugene L. Stillions, the 39th Quartermaster General. On June, 12 1986 Stillions and Gen. Richard H. Thompson, commanding general of the Army Materiel Command inducted the first four members into the hall of fame. Since that time the Hall of Fame has recognized outstanding leaders who have contributed the most to the overall achievement, tradition and history of the Quartermaster Corps.

The program recognizes those select individuals who have made singular and lasting important contributions to the overall history and heritage of the Quartermaster Corps.

Brig. Gen. Rodney D. Fogg, Quartermaster General and Commandant U.S. Army Quartermaster School said, "There is a lot to celebrate this week. We have much to be proud of today. Fort Lee was essential to our nation in World War I, again in WWII and in every major and minor crisis that has occurred since then, This post trains the world's best logistics Soldiers and leaders - especially quartermaster Soldiers."

In addition, to the Hall of Fame recipients the Ancient Order of Saint Martin was awarded to Col. Bob Barrett (ret.). The Ancient Order of Saint Martin is the most distinguished of the three levels of the Quartermaster patron saint, this prestigious award recognizes the select few who stand above their brethren and have performed conspicuous long term service that singularly distinguishes themselves as contributors to the Quartermaster Corps.

The inductees are: Lt. Gen. Raymond V. Mason (ret.), Maj. Gen. Roger W. Sandler (ret.), Col. Charles P. Baldwin (ret.), Col. Daniel L. Eby (ret.) Deceased, Col. Paul N. Fortune (ret.), Col.William A. Jenks (ret.), Col. Horace McCaskill (ret.), Chief Warrant Officer 5 Jack C. Van Zanten (ret.), Chief Warrant Officer 4Fernando S. Muzquiz (ret.), Command Sgt. Major Frank G Castillo (ret.), Sgt. Maj. Joseph W. Brundy (ret.), Sgt. Major David P. Staples (ret.), Mr. John Q. McNulty, Army civilian (ret.), Dr. Ellen S. Pruett, Army civilian (ret.), Dr. Steven E.
