Dozens of preschool students and staff members at Scales Child Development Center took part in breast cancer awareness walk Oct. 13. Carrying banners and signs, the group -- many of them wearing pink, the international symbol of breast cancer awareness -- made a lap around the neighborhood, where they were met with waves and cheers from adults and children in nearby offices.
