ADAZI TRAINING AREA, Latvia -- U.S. Army Soldiers hosted Austrian and Swiss observers during U.S. Army Europe's multinational exercise Bayonet Shield, Aug. 30.

The visit was held in coordination with a Defense Threat Reduction Agency-Europe inspection team.

Bayonet Shield includes training across the Baltic region in order to build combat readiness, exercises and display operational agility, and enhance interoperability through tough, realistic training with NATO allies, including the robust and ready enhanced Forward Presence (eFP) battle groups.
