Pugil stick fights add excitment to formation

Omaha, Neb., native, Pfc. Christopher Kennally, Company E, and Jacksonville, Fla., native, Spc. Charles Hutton, Co. B; both member of 1st Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, pugil stick fight during the battalion-wide end of the week formation on Feb. 6. There were six matches total during the formation consisting of one Paratrooper from each company. The fights were to help add excitement and motivation through out the battalion.

Maxis Ozers, Headquarters, 1st Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, blocks his opponents blow with a pugil stick during a battalion-wide pugil stick tournament on Feb. 6. The pugil stick matches were held during the end of the week formation to help liven up the safety briefs that are held weekly.
