Army Surgeon General, Lt. Gen. Patricia Horoho was the guest speaker at a Tripler Army Medical Center National Prayer Breakfast on February 25, 2014.

During the service, Horoho shared spiritually impactful moments throughout her career which she called "God moments" and said that taking time to acknowledge those points in time has strengthened her resiliency.

"There is no doubt in my mind that every moment of my life, whether it has been a blessing or a challenge, it has been the journey that God wants me to be on," said Horoho.

Horoho ended her remarks by reminding community members that they have an opportunity to help each other along the journey of life.

"What you do every day can have a positive or negative impact on the lives of many. And you will have impacts in ways that you will never understand but know that those impacts are making a difference," she said.

Horoho's visit to Tripler comes at the tail end of her two weeklong Asia-Pacific tour of military treatment facilities across the region where she discussed the top priorities in Army Medicine with military medical staff.
