Mr. Clede O'Neal, a Test Manager for the Digitized M119A2 Howitzer, assigned to the office of the Project Manager, Towed Artillery Systems, planned and executed a complex multi-million dollar test program for the Digitized M119A2 Howitzer.
Mr. O'Neal led the integration of a diverse group of personnel from a number of different organizations (Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center, Army Test and Evaluation Command, User, and Other Government Agencies) at multiple sites to establish cost, schedule, and performance objectives for the highly complex test program.
Repeatedly, Mr. O'Neal overcame challenges and attained the program objectives. His accomplishments include a short notice change of plans to add a User Risk Reduction test at Ft Sill, OK that was effectively and efficiently executed.
This effort resulted in a successful completion of the Digitized M119A2 test program within cost and schedule constraints and his efforts placed the program on a path to successfully achieve its Type Classification decision.
