What is your job?

As the Reset Unit Travel Coordinator and Graphics Support Specialist for AFMD, I coordinate and process travel plans for Army Units. I produce, analyze and distribute briefings for AFMD, including the monthly Aviation Reset CG Brief and Bi-weekly Aviation Reset DA-G3 Brief to include many others. As a Graphics Support Specialist I create artistic awards, signs, banners, etc. required by AFMD and also provide editorial formatting for the ALC Integrator newsletter.

What do you like most about your job?

It is fast-paced and I enjoy using the "other side" of my brain… the analytical side.

Did you serve in the military? If yes, for how long and what did you do?

No. Probably should have.

What are you usually doing when you're not at work?

I enjoy fly fishing from a kayak very much. I also play Huntsville Ultimate Summer League Frisbee and enjoy spending time with my wife, Nancy,

and my dog, Mackie.

If you could speak directly to the Soldier you support, what would you say?

Thanks for enduring all the hardships you face while defending the greatest country on earth.

What would people be most surprised to learn about you?

I have a prehensile tail… (just kidding)

Who are your heroes or who has inspired you? Why?

Winston Churchill, Lewis & Clark, Jackie Stewart and Bo Jackson… Because all of them used the gifts given to them to the utmost of their ability. They also displayed grit and determination along with a deep caring and concern for their fellow human beings.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A knight of King Arthur's Round Table or a Formula One race car driver.

What AMCOM means to me:

Providing the best maintained military aircraft and equipment to U.S. soldiers around the world in a timely and efficient manner.
