FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (Nov. 15, 2013) -- Maj. Gen. Leslie Smith, Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and Fort Leonard Wood, commanding general; the Noncommissioned Officers Academy Joint Services Color Guard; retired 1st Sgt. Alfredia Williams, Fort Leonard Wood's 2013 Retiree of the Year; the 399th Army Band; and the Fort Leonard Wood Fire Department; joined the Waynesville-St. Robert community in honoring our nation's veterans during the Waynesville-St. Robert Veterans Day Ceremony and Parade, Nov. 11, in St. Robert, Mo.

The ceremony began with a moment of silence and concluded with a presentation of state resolutions and national flag to Parade Marshals Jim & Wilma Tucker, local Veterans of the Year.

Immediately following the ceremony, the 2013 Waynesville-St. Robert Area Veterans Day Parade stepped off from the St. Robert Municipal Center.
