Participants during SDDC's Defense Transportation Tracking System office, or DTTS, Rehearsal of Concept drill and table-top exercise take turns discussing their roles and responsibilities on how they would respond to an emergency situation. The DTTS ROC drill and table-top exercise provides a platform for continual education for movement of Department of Defense high security risk cargo and response to any potential accident. The exercise is also designed to identify critical gaps between responders.

LEADER

Maj. Gen. Thomas J. Richardson assumed command of the Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., on March 27, 2012. He was born in Saint Louis, Mo., and entered the U.S. Army upon graduation from Stephen F. Austin University in 1980. He was commissioned in the Quartermaster Corps. Richardson has held a wide variety of command and staff positions during his 31-year career.
