Activated on December 5, 2025 and headquartered at Fort Bragg, N.C., U.S. Army Western Hemisphere Command is an operational warfighting theater command headquarters that is focused on homeland defense, defense support to civil authorities, and theater security cooperation across the Western Hemisphere.

USAWHC Mission Statement

U.S. Army Western Hemisphere Command, the Theater Army of the Americas and Army Service Component Command to U.S. Northern Command and U.S. Southern Command, conducts hemispheric defense-in-depth to secure U.S. interests in the Western Hemisphere, provides ready multi-component forces, and protects the homeland.
