FORT LEE, Va. -- Maj. Gen. Lynn A. Collyar, Logistics Operations director, Defense Logistics Agency, places the U.S. Army Ordnance Corps' Hall of Fame medal around retired Command Sgt. Maj. Dennis W. Crandell's neck May 16. Crandell was one of 12 inductees into the HoF, which was established on May 9, 1969, to recognize and memorialize those who have made a positive, significant contribution to the corps. Collyar, who was the Army's Chief of Ordnance and school commandant from 2008-2010, officiated the ceremony and said "no event we do is more important than that of remembering and recognizing excellence." For information about all of the inductees, go to http://www.goordnance.army.mil/hof/hall_of_fame.html. (U.S. Army photo by H.S. Block)
