125th BSB, 3rd IBCT, 1st AD's "Roughrider" company 'keeps it clean' during

MCGREGOR RANGE, N.M. (May 20, 2010) Pfcs. Quincy Thornton and Modesto Fraga (right), water purification specialists with A Company, 125th Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, work together to do initial water testing as part of the "Roughrider" company's training on the Tactical Water Purification System during their Bn.'s 10-day field training exercise, May 12-21. Fraga is holding an Ultameter, a testing device which can measure a sample's total dissolved solids, or TDS, as well as its temperature and pH Level. Knowing these values informs water purification specialists of the feasibility of utilizing a water source before the in-depth work begins.
