BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan--One 3-401st Army Field Support Battalion Soldier and one civilian were recognized for their hard work and dedication by Command Sgt. Maj. Edward A. Bell, 1st Theater Sustainment Command Forward/3rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), during a non-commissioned officer breakfast May 3.
Bell presented a coin from Brig. Gen. Donnie Walker, Jr., 1st Theater Sustainment Command Forward/3rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) commanding general, to Sgt. 1st Class Ivan K. Line, flight line liaison non-commissioned officer-in-charge. Line spent most of his deployment at Forward Operating Base Shank in support of closing out 3-401st Army Field Support Battalion missions and has recently taken responsibility for being the link between the battalion and the U.S. Air Force for ensuring U.S. Army equipment is properly manifested and loaded in support of Army missions and requirements.
Bell also presented a certificate of appreciation signed by the commanding general and himself to Cassandra Irvin, 3-401st AFSBn executive assistant, for her support to the battalion commander and the entire battalion.
