The Liberty Theatre presents We Are the Dream: Area students bring MLK's life to stage

FORT BENNING, Ga., (Feb. 19, 2014) -- The Liberty Theatre & Cultural Center will present We Are the Dream -- a children's production about the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Feb. 20-23. The production, with Vanessa Lundy as director and Santonia None as musical director, will feature a cast and choir of more than 25 students from across Columbus and surrounding cities. There will be four show dates: 11 a.m. on Feb. 20-21 and 4 p.m. on Feb. 22-23.

Immediately following the Feb. 22 show, there will be a free arts and crafts activity hosted by The Columbus Museum. At 7:30 p.m., Liberty will show the family movie Ruby Bridges. This event is free and open to the public.

Tickets for the production are $5 for students and $10 for adults. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more.
