ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL, Ill. - Ranging far and wide, Army Sustainment Command Soldiers participated in 9/11 commemorative events across Iowa and Illinois. Whether serving as guest speakers or members of a color guard, ASC Soldiers represented the thousands of their comrades on battlefields and training grounds, fighting the war on terrorism spawned ten years ago by attacks on the Pentagon and World Trade Center.

Welcomed by diverse audiences, ASC Soldiers posted the colors at an inter-faith memorial service, spoke at remembrance services and participated in a joint-service color guard. At every turn, citizens sought out our Soldiers to thank them for their service and express their respect for the tough jobs and hard work America's Army does every day.
