Queston Newell, who is from Lubbock, tries to speed dry a last minute touch up to the nose gear of his British Hawker Harrier jet he assembled for the Fort Hood Warrior Transition Brigade’s (WTB) model toy contest, held June 15 at WTB Headquarters. Newell, who said the project was challenging because of his injured right hand, estimates it took him about three weeks from start to finish.
