Exercise Garuda Shield is a bilateral exercise designed to strengthen relations between U.S. and Indonesian Armed Forces. Throughout the exercise, the Soldiers will participate in a field training exercise, a command post exercise and a humanitarian civic action project. U.S. and Indonesian participants will further strengthen their personal relationships by competing in sporting events and enjoying cultural activities, such as culture day.
