FORT CARSON, Colo. -- Eliza Elekes, 8, and Devin Almodovar, 11, climb to the top of the Alpine Tower during the Easter egg wall crawl April 21. After reaching the top of the 25-foot tower, children rappelled back down to claim their prize, a bag of candy. The wall crawl is one of many activities the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation sponsored in April to observe the Month of the Military Child.
